|Zanshin||Addendum - now that I think about it, all of the 43's that I've seen have had in-mast furling. That is what I have on mine, and since I don't race the loss of performance isn't relevant to me but the ease of deployment and reefing is.|

I have the manual in front of me, but all I have for the "Classic Mast" is:
Mast Length 50"9'
I am sure that Doyle and Quantum sailmakers have the relevant information in their databases, since (in the Caribbean) they seem to be the major sailmakers for the Jeanneau boats.

Cruising direct, FX sails, both have online sizes for many sailboats.
Otherwise, personally, I would talk to nearest sailmaker/rep to your boat, then have it measured and go with recomendation. If you main is anything like my 85 Jeanneaus main, I can increase the size by some 20%, as it was ade a bit on the small side as far as leech, and foot measurements, and I can increase the roach a bunch too. Not sure if these performance inhancments are what you want, vs just a robust sail......again, talk to a local sailmaker for best info.

Sun Odyssey 43 Mainsail
I would like to get a fully battened main for my 43'.
1. Can anyone tell me the correct sail size or point me in the direction of a database.
2. Its for charter use so need a robust ball bearing car system, Frederickson now owned by Ronstan. Are there any USA made equivalents?
Advice on cheapest source.
Any other advice/recommendations?
