sailingdog It's been over three months since they've been heard from... that's probably a bad sign. Were they supposed to make a landfall at Ensenada, Mexico?

Tartan 41 "Legacy" Boaat Watch

Pacific Coast/Mexco/Aussie & New Zealand Members: This boat has been reported missing.
Kindly report any sightings to the Coast Guard.

Vessel Name: LEGACY
Captain:Harold V. Toberman
Vessel_Description: 41FT sailboat, fiberglass monohull,
manufactured by Tartan Marine Company in 1976.
Communications: NO comms sched esablished.
Final destination may have been New Zealand but unable to confirm.
Itinerary: Departed Monterey, CA early October 2007
enroute Ensenada, MX.
Next port of call Costa Rica-no ETA.
Persons_on_board: 3-All US citizens. Harold and Brenda Toberman(40's), and David Talkington(29).
Reason: We received a phone call from a concerned friend of David,
she has not heard from David in over 3 months. Please contact RCC ALameda or
family with current status.
