werebeagle What more do you need than a cedar bucket? Although that's now illegal in most coastal waters.

Francis is one of my favorite designers.....

But, I not have any information on this boat you looking at.

Most of the designs of Francis were built by many people as back yard projects back in the early years.

Rudder magazine published many of Francis' designs for the home builder. But, many Boat Building Companies also produced the boats.

Lewis Francis Herreshoff (1890-1972) was the son of Nathanael Greene Herreshoff (18481938).

"Captain Nat" is one of the great marine designers that America ever had and in my opinion; Francis went the extra step to be the "Artist". He designed simplicity into practicality.

I not sure if you will get a response. But, you may try the links below for some information.

You may actually be able to e-mail Halsey Herreshoff for some information. There is/was a lady named Elizabeth Vaughn (Executrix of Francis' estate) and you may be able to find something here and there.

I wish I could tell more. I will say this;
When people talk of the number of designs Francis had. I laugh and say; "There were hundreds more, just they never made it out of Francis' head and onto paper".

I would love to see the plans of this Herreshoff-Creekmore. I am curious to see if it have a "Cedar Bucket". You can ask Halsey about the Bucket if you can.

I'm headed for Miami next week for the show and I'm planning on taking a look at this boat while in the area. Looks good on paper. Anyone know much about these boats?
I'm too new to post a link but it's the only one listed in Yachtworld. Seems a little under priced.
