sailingdog I think we hit a sore spot... CD appears to be unhappy with us... Truth hurts, don't it...

Idiens I use a length of wipping twine for the same purpose, and its re-usable (what a cheap skate).

camaraderie CD...you might want to add that one to the TIPS & TRICKS thread...an oldie but a goodie.

JohnRPollard You know, I used to wonder, when CD would say that he doesn't need a spinnaker, because his boat goes downwind just fine under "main and genny". Now so many things are becoming clear to me....

JohnRPollard TB,

That is one sweet looking Catalina sail!!!

Which loft did that come out of, and what model?

sailingdog Given how much his solar panels and bbq grills weigh, I'm not too surprised. That's a 200% Catalina Genny.

TrueBlue SD,
I heard through the grapevine, CD was replacing that engine with this bad boy . . .

05-21-2008 01:52 PM
Pamlicotraveler Thanks SD...gotta admit I had no idea what he was talking about - I didn't remember CDs sense of humour being that dry, but I was all about it...but it was funnier that way.

sailingdog For those of you unfamiliar with a Catalina main sail, here's a photo of it...

and here's a photo of the Catalina CD-edition Genny:
