Is there anyone in the Pacific Northwest with a PSC 34 that will let me view their vessel? I'm searching for a 34' - 38' vessel and PSC 34, by the reviews and numbers, is a high contender but I've yet been able to view one up close. I'm heading up to Seattle for Portland next week to view a HC 33, but haven't found any PSC 34's in my neck of the woods for sale. Any help in this area is appreciated. Thanks.

Hi:
Check Yachtworld.com. I just did a search and there are PSC34 and PSC37 sailboats in the Seattle and Portland area you can view if you hook up with the broker. They should be willing to schedule a visit to one if you are seriously in the market.

Yes, Thank you. I did a search on Yachtworld. I've have seen the PSC 37 and the PSC 34 you mentioned is not in Seattle as of this moment as the listing advertises. It was scheduled to arrive in May but has not left it's home port yet. In the event it ever does arrive I will certainly schedule a visit. I was hoping better use of my time on this up coming trip and see as much as possible.

San Juan Sailing has a PSC 34

San Juan Sailing up in Bellingham has a 1992 PSC 34 ("Osprey") in their charter fleet.

(I'd include the link but this stupid forum software won't let me until I have 10 other posts. It's triple-w <dot> sanjuansailing <dot> com <slash> charters <slash> Osprey .)

You could also try calling Max Heller at Seacraft Yacht Sales (206-547-2755). He's a long-time Pacific Seacraft dealer on Lake Union in Seattle. He was able to arrange a visit to a PSC 40 for us.

Hi, I am in the Pacific Northwest - Gig Harbor - south of Seattle. You can view our Crealock 37. She is moored in Gig Harbor. We are the original owners. She is a 1999 and in 2005 we took her to Mexico. Love this boat! In our opinion this is the best blue water boat - not too beamy. If you go out in the Pacific you'll appreciate that! Can you plan another trip up?

Hi Katwalling,
Thanks for the invite to view your PSC 37 but since I posted that request I've have bought a Crealock 34 in Calif. and had it shipped to Portland. I'm going to work on it here, close to home, for a while then move it to the Puget Sound area later. I'd love to hear about your route to and from Mexico and of course any tips and comments about the Crealock if you have any.
Thanks again for the offer.

Hi again and Congrats on the new 34!! Great choice! I think the 34 and 37's are perfect blue water cruisers for a sailing team - husband and wife - or ? Three sailors are also comfortable with some shuffling of sail sacks etc. Re-reading my earlier post and I mis-typed. We went to Mexico in 2003 and came home in 2005 - oops. The route to and from Mexico? We did NOT go with the BaJa Ha Ha crowd. We did stay in close 20 to 35 miles offshore. We stopped at Newport, OR - Crescent City & Eureka, CA. Sailed under the Golden Gate bridge in sunshine on Sept 25 (cross that off the lifetime list). Then we stopped in Santa Barbara, and Marina Del Ray (my hometown). Took a side trip sailing out to Catalina in 20 knots of WARM wind. Amazing... Then stopped in San Diego - at the "Police dock" for 10 days. SD is crazy and not user friendly! We crossed into Mexican waters late Nov and the real adventure began! The boat? Excellent is the only word - she's tough, well balanced and sails very, very well. Things we added prior to our cruise - a watermaker (loved it), radar, monitor vane, ICOM 802 SSB radio. If you're going to Mexico on your 34 - consider a watermaker for sure. What did you name her? You'll fall in love several times with this boat...Cheers, Kat

psc 37

Hi Kat,

I'm looking for a PSC 34 or 37. Your comments on sailnet are inspiring. You shoud go to work for Steve Brodie at Pacific Seacraft.
It's been awhile since your trip toMexico but could you talk about the trip back back?

If you are thinking of doing the Baja Haha this year I would be glad to crew.
