Re: "RAHNGHILD"

Hello Peter.

I just saw your post, even tho it is, like 12 yrs old. But still, I wanted to address it.
I was on Rahnghild with Fred Davis alot in the 80's and he left her with me and my wife in the early 80's in Panama. We were on her for quite a while, and sailed her back from bocas del toro to the canal zone.

She returned to Eureka Ca and Fred sold it to a Roger Kramer. He renamed her "La Ardilla". I found this information out by the following:

Ironically, I noticed, a vessel motoring out of Fort Bragg, CA harbor in 2005, where i have a fishing boat, and talked to the harbor master, who gave me the Doc# , and that is how i found out about the new name and owner.

Hope this helps. You did a beautiful job on her. feel free to contact me.

"RAHNGHILD"

I am trying to locate this vessel. I built her in Vancouver Canada in 1972. She is a 40'' center cockpit glass ketch,3 wooden framed windows in the transom, ketch rigged and designed by Al Mason. I believe she was in Fiji 4 or 5 years ago for new deck''s. I would love to contact her .thanx .Peter
