first off, to determine the amount of clowns in a mac 26 you would need to figure a few things...
is the cabin top up or down? we can assume its down as it would be under sail... (as though a boat load of clowns COULD manage to get under sail)
depending on the size of thier shoes, you could probably fit quite a few, more if you use midgets...
you have to use at least one dwarf, since thats all anyone could fit in the head... too many would be bad though, since the little guys are almost solid muscle, and usually sink.
you could probably find a couple really lanky ones to squeeze into the ballast tank, but nobody would think to empty it first...
vegas is great right now, ive never seen this much snow here before...
as for the water level, its always going down. depending on when you were here last, the cement factory on boulder island is waaaay out of the water now, and las vegas boat harbor has moved over next to lake mead marina at hemmingway harbor... where it used to be is now pretty dry...
dont let the bath ring around the lake fool you though, there is still plenty of area out there, i have so far only been in 2 of the 4 basins...

Welcome to Sailnet!
One of the best days of sailing I've ever had was when I spent an afternoon just above Hoover Dam, in my Laser, screaming off on broad reaches as the wind funneled through the gorge.. It was an amazing day.
What's the water level situation on Lake Mead these days?

greetings from las vegas
happy to introduce myself...
my name's benny, im a circus clown currently living in vegas.
this summer i bought my first (real) sailboat, a 1988 macgregor 26, and through much cerimony and fanfare, re-named her "first of may" wich is the circus term for rookie...
i sail almost every weekend here on lake mead, and learn more every time i go out...
thanks for all the great stuff and info iv'e found on this site!
