Dynamique The Colin Archer is up for sale (if anybody wants it) It is not in a very good shape and I am looking to sell the rig and motor separatly and then to scrap the hull if not anyone wants to by it as is.
I am not all that good at posting pictures.
The Dynamique is a deck saloon sailing boat built in France. We are going to sail it from Alesund on the west coast to Oslo starting next week. some 650 miles. I see on the weather report that it is constant gales and below 0 teperatures, it tends to be a cold and wet trip...

harryhoratio Yes Welcome!

I share your Norsk blood and in fact my sister has returned to her Norwegian roots and lives on the Island of Algroy near Bergan very near where my grandfather was born. I assume you live near Oslo - yes?

JohnRPollard Welcome aboard, Dynamique!

What did you do with your Colin Archer cutter? It sounds like an historic vessel. Could you show some photos?

I'm not familiar with the Dynamique Express boats. Where was it built? Sounds like a French boat.

Again, Welcome to Sailnet!

A newbie from Norway

Hallo all. I have been reading in this forum for some time now and have now decided to partisipate. As a Norwegian living up in the cold north we only get to sail some 8-9 monts a year. The rest of the time we are just waiting...
The last 15 years I have been sailing my 40 feet Colin Archer Pilot cutter (built around 1890) and for a couple of years now I have also been crewing on a racing Farr40 (previously belonging of the King of Norway) Two totally separate worlds. I have just puchased a Dynamique Express 50 built 1984 Deck saloon, as the wife was unhappy with the free air of the cutter. I find it hard to find any information on the Dynamique on the net and are very happy if anyone in this forum can be of any help.
