Ask your local propane dealer... Some may be willing to fill the tank for you if you supply the necessary adapters.

sailingdog You might want to check the measurements of your propane locker to see if you can even get an American propane tank that fits it properly before doing anything else.

boatpoker All you need to do is buy a new tank and have a new line made uo with a NA to EU adapter to go between the regulator and tank. I am in Toronto so this wil not help much but I have bought these at Fairview Fittings And Manufacturing

I am sure you have similar suppliers in your area.

response to propane conversion

thank you for your response. I was informed that the European tank can not be filled in the USA. Have I been misinformed?

boatpoker What and why do you need to change? All of the fittings are different but that does not mean they don't meet ABYC or CFR standards.

Propane Conversion

I have a 2001 Bavaria 37 and the propane system for the stove needs to be converted from the European standard to USA. Does anyone know how to do this and where I can get the necessary parts.
