sailingdog The uglier the dinghy, the lower the chances of it being stolen... same for the dinghy motor.

lancelot9898 If you plan to do much cruising leaving the dinghy at dinghy docks when going ashore, I'ld leave the paint on. It reduces the chances of it being stolen. I've got cetol splatter on my Achilles and though about removing it, but a friend who had made one circumnavigation told me to leave it as is for that very reason.

removing paint on hypalon

hello everyone i have a hypalon rib that the previous owner used as a floating drop cloth. the boat is in good condition so i was wondering if any one here knew of a solvent that can remove paint but not destroy the material?
