Fuel tanks

Just found this post and was wondering if you knew of the name of the outfit that did the job on the reconditioning of the fuel tanks.

Irwin32 My Irwin had a steel tank. I found a place that reconditioned steel fuel tanks and guarenteed them for life. they were able to reconstruct sections that were rotted away. That is the route I went and used the boat over 10 years with no problem from the tank.

This was not a marine business, but did a lot of work with old tractors, cars, etc.

gershel If your tanks are aluminum, WEST SYSTEM epoxy sells a kit, complete with FG, etching solution, and epoxy. I found it to be an easy and inexpensive fix.
