The simple answer is that the two switches are wired in parallel with the buzzer in series with the two switches. If either closes (low oil pressure or high water temp), the buzzer will go off. The circuit should be connected to 12V via the engine key switch so the buzzer is off when the key is in the off position.

Universal/ Westerbeke Warning Buzzer
Well now that we have our motor running well time to tie up some loose ends. We have the upgraded panel with all guages, Tach, water temp, oil pressure, volts. But the panel does not have a warning buzzer. I have one here new Westerbeke part number 13355. On the back are 3 screw terminals postive, negative and a 3rd thats not marked. The buzzer says its made by Floyd Bell. I need to know how to wire it in, we have 2 oil pressure sensors (one was for if we had a panel light, one works with panel gauge) and then we have 1 water temp sensor. I assume the buzzer is only used for low oil pressure and high water temp. Thanks for any help.
