Castlereef I also remember seeing some software that you could use on your laptop, connecting it to your ssb, which would provide you weatherfax and navtex data on your screen, I'll see if I can dig out the link, seemed really good.

Paolaa Dear Camaraderie,

Thanks for all the information.
Now I hope I can hear them with my SSB receiver.

camaraderie Here's Chris Parker's Schedule and frequencies:CARIBWX The Caribbean Weather Site

And here's the complete worldwide NWS radio-fax schedule
http://www.nws.noaa.gov/om/marine/rfax.pdf

And here's USA Navtex/Sitor text brpadcasts:
USCG HF SITOR
NAVTEX Product Listing
Note that:
Assigned frequencies shown, for carrier frequencies subtract 1.7 kHz. Typically specialized marine communications equipment uses assigned SITOR frequencies while general purpose equipment uses carrier frequencies. Note that stations share common frequencies. For SITOR.

Better yet...here is all you need for the Caribe on one page...I used it exclusively for several years.
