dman & FalconEddie . . .
The weather HAS been less than ideal in New England, but we make the best of it, whenever we can.

Although we were graced by perfect weather while on the island, our recent cruise to Edgartown was bookended by dense fog each way, going & returning to homeport, as evidenced by this photo of my second mate on lookout:

Of course, the rest of my crew found ways to enjoy themselves . . .

Northeast Weather

I have heard the weather in the northeast could be unsettled. I heard it while I lived on the coast north of Boston and in Boston Harbor for fifty years.

I moved to Florida, where the weather is always just as sweet as honey. None of the brochures show the hurricanes, floods, tornados, thunder and lightning, and on and on.

There is another hurricane working it''s way north. Dennis the pain in the ass. Yes, yes, Dennis the Menace is the obvious choice, but it doesn''t really say what I mean.

I am about ready to trade boats with anyone in New England just to get done with this crap.

Snap out of this you scum sucking bilge rat, you''re going to feel more miserable working on the damn house. Others have found the time and inspiration, get off the computer and get your sorry ass to the boat yard and get that windjammer launched!

On Monday I want you to be singing a different tune!
