|smackdaddy||Bene, dude, the new avvy rocks. Definitely better than the one with you passed out in the cockpit with cookie crumbs all over your foulies.|

DavidPM started a new thread to post some pictures click here:
Also there's a parallel thread on anything-sailing.com where I reposted some of David's pictures. See it here: http://www.anything-sailing.com/your...43.html?t=4043

Arrived safe in Port Jeff ok. Was an excellent trip across the sound. We started the sail at 3:30 AM, with a reef in place. Winds got to about 29 knots I believe, as measured by David's anemometer.
DavidPM took pictures and video of us hove-to. He took the pictures from the dinghy in 25+ knots of wind.
Thanks to BarryL, I got to the game to see my son play football this afternoon. Thanks Barry! He is joining me tomorrow for the 3rd leg of this trip.
Back on the boat now, dinghyed from the town dock to the northwest corner of the lake, a few hours ago during the SCA, at night. Definity BFSomething.
Will post more when I get a chance.

Keep us posted, dude.
Hey, did Bubb ever give you that bottle of very expensive rum I left with him to give to you? I had forgotten to bring it when I emptied your stores on that fateful night. So I gave it to him the next day.
Heh-heh, this will be interesting.

Give my best regards to the DM3000! I hope that unit can take some much needed pictures of you in your 'fat suit'.
Tie up securely in Port Jeff and enjoy Lucas' game. You might consider paying to tie up there this time by the ferry.
I wish I could join you on Weds. but I gotta' sign a contract w/lawyer to sell my mom's house at 1500 hrs so I can't be there early. I might be able to swing a Thursday AM departure though.
Kudos on getting from MTK to Westport, CT solo though.

|Bene505||Thanks Smack. Looks like I'm getting one of the "big guns" to go with me tomorow in the SCA that's brewing (actually tomorrow afternoon). DavidPM is going on the Westbrook, CT to Port Jefferson leg of this odyssey.|

|smackdaddy||Bene - I'm honestly amazed that you can solo a 505. That right there is some skill. Very cool.|

By the way, I pocketed a handheld waterproof VHF. That would help too, I figure.
