How do you like the E85001 converter? Does it do what you want it to do?

Melrna All your Raymarine instruments, including chartplotter, autopilot computer, wind, speed and depth should be daisy chained together in the back of the instrument. There is a custom plug-in wire that does this. There are three plug-ins on the back of the instrument. The left and right 3 prong plug-in is for the daisy chain and the middle one is where it gets the information from the transducers or NEMA 1800 if my memory serves me correctly. I would check the back of the speed instrument to see if you have all 3 plug-ins connected. If you have that than I would check to see if the chartplotter is daisy chained into the other instruments. The GPS info can come from the chartplotter or autopilot computer.

r1texas Yes I found how to display the SOG on my speed display, but I get nothing. I guess that I have a bad connection so?
How do you connect your GPS to the Seatalk network?

blt2ski One of the buttons on the dial you click thru it and it will/should show the SOG assuming everything is wired up correctly. far left bottom button IIRC. At least my ST60's will show SOG "IF" I had a GPS hooked up.

How to get the SOG on a ST60 speed display?

I have a Seatalk network connected to a PC using a E85001 converter. I connected a USB/GPS antenna directly to the PC.
So I can have all the instruments displayed on my PC but I don't have the SOG displayed on my ST60 speed display.
Is someone knows a solution?
