SVCarolena Nice - that is a very similar design to the one we made ourselves for our boat, although I designed ours to attach only to the pushpit so no need to drill any new holes. After we finished the project we questioned how we ever used the boat in July and August for two seasons without one. I like that you had them set it up to accept additional panels down the road.

jbondy I don't know what the problem is, but you could set up a photo album on SailNet, upload the photos to the album and then post a link to them.

Not sure if this is the right board to post this, but for anyone in the Long Island Sound area, I just wanted to give a reccomendation for Seafarer Canvas for custom boat canvas, interiors and upholstery.

they just completed a bimini installation for me. custom fit to work around the various issues common to sailboats like hatches, winches, and running rigging. The frame was built entirly out of stainless steel and has no pesky straps to get in the way of winch handles or bodies trying to go forward in a hurry, as well as installed everything.

All for about $75 more than the aluminum frame bimini's that you can order online that you need pay an arm and a leg to ship, then to tweak to fit it for your boat while you spend hours installing it yourself.

very happy with them, strongly reccomend.

ps. tried to attach pics, but upload fails even after I shrunk them down to under 800x600 size.
