i love to sail, and have years of experience sailing all sized yachts.

My experience includes racing wooden hulls - seattle and california, and i crossed from Newport beach, Ca to Kona Hi several years ago. we did not have gps capabilities, and used sextant, long and lat. I am a good cook, and have boundless energy, am easy to get along with. (i think i can sing, but am pretty sure im not good at it, so i would spare you this)

How long are you thinking and how much experience do you need? I have sailed with my recent ex-boyfirend for 4 years. I was first mate and the gally crew. We sailed the BVI, Georgian bay and Lake Huron. I am no longer with him and miss the adventure of sailing. I have a full time job in Michigan so cannot take alot of time off.

Popenator Hi captblighty, at the start of April I did the longish passage from Tortola to Provo, Turks and Caicos, then spent the rest of April and half of May cruising the islands of the T&Cs and the Exhumas. Without doubt the most incredible islands I have visited. So i'm familiar with the art of navigating those tricky cuts, keeping tabs on the tides and currents, overnight passages and finding nice holding in the perfect anchorages.

Do you have more info on what your plans and intentions are?

captblighty Thanks for the offer and I will keep you in mind but I was hoping to find someone who can come on passages up until about Sept or Oct.

CalebD Capt. Blighty,
You posted in the right place. PM = private message (like an email through this forum). You can't send a PM until you have at least 5 posts.
You could just post here in the thread you started until you get 5 posts or post on 'the Song Thread' in off topic.
I'd be curious to see a pic of your boat. Have a fun trip.

captblighty I would be interested in hearing about the waters and islands between Great Exuma and the VI's. Please excuse my ignorance... what's a PM ?
