Yes, I am happy I'd listened to our fellow forum members who've suggested taking this route.

This is the Wantagh Parkway south bridge in South Bay, Long Island, NY opening for us on Monday noon (September 13, 2010).

rikhall Looks like you had a great day going through NYC. We sailed our new to us sailboat from Annapolis to New Brunswick Canada two years ago. We too liked Point Judith. Enjoy the rest of the trip and be safe.
