engele We have a Simrad wheel pilot on our 38 that does fine. I do like the quadrant mounted systems better though. My past experience with Raymarine quadrant mounted pilots has been good. If you have a wind vane, adding a tiller pilot to the system is a cheap way to go that is pretty dead simple.

Adding Auto Pilot to Seafarer 29

I'm just beginning to research self-steering options (wheel steering) for my Seafarer 29', and I'm like to know what system/brand other Seafarer owners use. Currently, I'm looking at CPT Autopilot CPT Autopilot Inc.
