Got launched this morning and had a short seatrial w/ our new prop. The biggest thing I noticed is the prop walk in reverse is completely gone. Seems like pleanty of thrust in forward but I won't know for sure til we're motoring into some sea. Won't know for a week or 2 about sailing performance. Very pleased w/ reverse. The propwalk was terrible w/ the fixed 2 blade that came w/ the boat.

Mate of ours has a Kiwi and it is a mightily impressive unit. Good under sail, no problems in forward but reverse is an absolute revelation. That thing stops her in her tracks when you go reverse. Were I to ever replace our FlexOFold (with which I am quite happy btw) I'd definitely go Kiwi.
I have the Kiwi on my Beneteau 343. The prop-walk in reverse has become predictable and manageable vs the stock prop which was a 3-ring circus between me and the crew everytime reverse was engaged.
Although, I have lost about 1 knot of speed in forward - no matter how much I tune the pitch. If I pitch too much, I get a pretty bad vibration...pitch too weak and I can barely make 4.5 knots under cruising RPM.
First weekend going anywhere sailing. Boat speed under sail is up over a knot. Spanked an Elan 43 going to weather. Had fun watching the crew try to trim their sails while we walked away. We easily cut an hour off the trip to our weekend anchoring destinations in the forks of Long Island.

Good stuff! We're enjoying a second hand Max prop and similarly pleased.
Around here the major beef with a few Kiwi props is the heavy pitch in reverse is enough to stall some smaller engines if engaged at idle. Any issues there?
One of the PO's installed a Kiwi prop. We have slight prop walk to starboard when in reverse. Works quite nicely when backing out of our slip.
