Barquito Personally, I think the CB is a complication worth avoiding. That is partly why I went from a swing keel Catalina 22 to the Bristol 27.

landmineop I think the 3'5" draft is wishfull thinking. After searching the net 4'4" is the ONLY listed draft on ANY site. They did make both a 26 and a 29 with CB's. The 29 is listed at 3'4" with the board up. The only alternative is that the keel was modified sometime in its life. THAT is a bag of worms to be avoided IMHO.

Bristol 27.7

Has anyone owned a 27.7 and how do or did you like her. I see one in New Jersey for sail and have heard build quality is good. I am looking for more or less a coastal cruiser with ocasional blue water work. Also the specs on the for sale site say 27.7 cb. and 3foot 5 inch draft. I did not think they made anything but a 4 foot 4 inch draft??
