Finger Lakes sailor here.

Hello Everyone,
I'm new to the SailNet community. My name is Brad and I live in Central NY. I own a Hunter 260 that I named KIVALO. The name stems from the s/v BRILLIANT out of Mystic Ct. I learned to sail aboard the BRILLIANT and when I got my own boat I named her after my first love. The word itself, kivalo, is the bastardization of the Hungarian word for brilliant. Presently KIVALO sails mostly on Owasco Lake however she has been on several different bodies of water so far. I have sailed her on Lake George several times and also on Lake Ontario from Irondequoit Bay to the Thousand Islands. I have also sailed her on Lake Michigan, from Hammond Indiana to Lake Charlevoix with stops at Holland(Lake Macatawa) and Grand Traverse Bay. Looking forward to interacting with those here.
