Re: Coronado 35 Owners

The mainsail backstays on my Coronado CC 35 ketch are driving me crazy.

Would it be possible to move them closer to the mizzen stays w/o losing structural integrity?

Re: Coronado 35 Owners

I just bought a Coronado 35 CC ketch based in Lefkos, Greece. I plan to spend the summers sailing the Med.

If it became necessary, how would you drain the fuel tank?

patrscoe Perhaps it would provide some guidelines and record but getting a prop size from another Coronado 35 owner may not be correct. Your best bet is to contact the prop manufacturer that you intend to purchase from, provide them with your sailboat information, engine size, running RPM and your transmission ratio. The transmission ratio is as important as anything else. They will size the prop accordingly.

Also providing the maximum size prop does not mean you will get the maximum power. It is a combination factor of pitch and size. For instance, a 17" 8 degree pitch will technically will not produce merely the power and control that a 16" 11 - 13 degree pitch prop.

Looking for information...What is the propeller size on your boat? I have a Coronado 35 and need to repower. Looking for maximum size prop I can put on it. I figured I'd give this a shot first before having to dive on her.

Thanks in advance.

Spencer
