gconley Thanks Crusingdad,

I too love the old Gulfstar's. It's too bad they don't still make these "Gentlemen Yachts" any longer. I appreciate the recomendation and will follow up with him.

Thanks again,

Cruisingdad You can check with Bobby Brown at Blue Water Survey. He is very honest and will tell you what he does and does not know. He works out of Florida and Texas. He is very knowledgeable of both sail and motor and is often recommended by PAE (Build the Nordhavn). I know him personally and would give him a great reccomendation. His number is: 214-522-3505. Just tell him Brian sent you to him. That way he will charge you double!!!

Hope that helps.

PS I like the old Gulfstars. Nice roomy boats.

Need Marine Surveyor for Gulfstar Sailmaster

I am looking to purchase a Gulfstar Sailmaster in the Tampa / St. Pete area. Does anyone out there know of a good surveyor with specific Gulfstar knowledge? Given these boats were built in the area, I am hoping to find a real Gulfstar expert.
