makenmend The standard hinges are not the best, stainless piano hinges would be better for both the table top and folding leg.
Also the standard table has no fiddles, if I were making from scratch I'd include them.

windyway The attach point hinges I've seen at marine stores. I would get stainless hinges for the table & legs if you can, if your near salt water.

Southron Spirit hi justin ,
i bought my 79 spirit in ms.. and hauled it to la.
i dont think they are special hinges im planning on buying some
at lowes .

how wide are the legs for your table at the top and the bottom ,might as well
try to make mine the same size as everyone elses , im sure a little bit one way or the other
wont hurt on the legs

Jolly23 Thanks for the pictures. I purchased my 79 in August, it came with the table, but no hinges and this is the first look I've actually had at it setup. Have either of you seen hinges like this for sale? Or at least what type of hinge they are called? Haven't been able to find them.

GoodOldBoater My table is stored to the left of the portapotti - along the bulkhead. I think it's meant to be stored there - it's a perfect fit.

Do you know if NA Yachts meant for the table to be stored there or is that just where you store it? When you say behind... do you mean forward of the bulkhead (beside the porta potti?? ) or aft of it?
