Eager volunteer available in Central America, wanting to learn to sail

Hello,

My name is Mike and I am searching for a skipper that is willing to take me on as a volunteer or paid deck hand. I am available at anytime, anywhere in Central America. I am in Costa Rica at the moment but am willing to meet you wherever you are docked. I don't have any experience but I am a fast learner. I am willing to do all tasks needed, however torturous they may be and however tired I may get. Not that I am expecting to be a slave but if a bad situation comes up, I will rise to the occasion. I did shift work as a locomotive engineer so I will be able to keep a decent watch as I have alot of experience staying awake at odd hours without much stimulus. I have a basic understanding of sailing, rigging, and ropes, although I don't know the terms, so please don't test me As I can't enrich you with sailing skills I would like to entertain you with stories, perhaps a card or chess opponent, I can teach you a bit of yoga(although I am not certified), maybe we could share philosophy and dreams, willing to give massages OR if all you desire is a helping hand I can be as quiet as a mouse and stay out of your way. I am a creative cook, hard worker, and easygoing companion. I understand the importance of keeping a tidy, clean, and oganized boat and will happily share all tasks onboad. I am definately NOT looking for a tour guide to take me on a pleasure cruise. I want to learn and learn hard. I am willing to go wherever you and your boat are heading. Anytime on the water at this point woud be fantastic. I don't have any responcibilites back in Canada so I don't have a time limit. . .My goal at this point is to gain some experience and find out if I have what it takes to be a sailor before I buy a boat of my own. Also meeting some new, interesting people would be great. . . If you would like to skype to get to know each other I am always available. . .Thank you for reading this and take care
