I got a reply from another forum and the consensus was little or no rake. As in an inch or less. Will try and see how it goes.

Re: Islander 28 mast rake
I am also interested in this topic. Our I-28 can change from a mild mannered & self tending but slow boat to a radical handful depending upon rake. Hindsight says I should have repaired the mast compression post support plate before replacing the standing rig. I sent my cables to the WestMarine rigging shop for duplication and received perfect copies. After the support plate repair I found the inner stays were too short to safety ring, too long to add a toggle... I cut a quarter inch off the bottom of the mast!
To add rake and forestay tension, I cut the end off of the new Backstay and installed a Swageless Terminal. I can tell you it is un-nerving to race 30 minutes after doing that...
I suspect side view pictures could be compared to get us in the rake ball park. Any suggestions?

Islander 28 mast rake
Hi. I am replacing the standing rigging on my Islander 28 and was hoping someone could shed some light on how much rake the mast should have. Thanks for any input.
