catamount I've used Diversified Marine Services Diving and Marine Contracting to have a diver scrub my boat, but they do lots of other kinds of work, too, and could probably help you with some of your projects. http://www.diversifiedmarineservices.com/

Chesapeake Rigging rebuilt my mast and overhauled my rigging and hydraulic system, and I was quite happy with their work. They could certainly install your wind instruments atop your mast for you, I'm sure. http://www.chesapeakerigging.com/main.html

Both Diversified Marine and Chesapeake Rigging are independent contractors located at or adjacent to Bert Jabin's Yacht Yard. http://www.bjyy.com/

John Clarke at Steve's Yacht Repair/Annapolis Harbor Boatyard is supposed to be pretty good. I've not done business with him, but did talk to him when I was boat shopping as he owns a sistership to what I purchased. http://www.annapolisharbor.com/

Family members have used John White at Whitehall Yacht Yard to help with maintaining their boats. http://www.dnr.state.md.us/boating/c...whitehall.html

hellosailor Chris, you might try VOSBURY MARINE: 1-800-427-3451. The owner is
Dick Vosbury, email Vosburym@aol.com. It's a family business and they are nice folks to deal with. Dick is also very prominent in online forums about Volvo engines, you may have run across the name before.

They may not do everything you need but I suspect they can get you a good start.

labatt Just to amend the post, if anyone has names of good people for the following, I'd appreciate the referral!

1) Change from dual lever engine controls to single lever
2) Radar install (mast)
3) Move instruments to nav-pod from current location
4) Install of Raymarine ST60 Wind (including masthead)
5) Rudder angle indicator
6) Electric windlass and associated hardware (battery, charger, etc.)
7) Cabin heater

I’m also looking to have some repairs and general work done:

1) Winterization
2) Lubricate prop
3) Rebed a throughhull
4) Service stuffing box

Thanks!

Chris

Annapolis Referrals

My boat (Passport 40) is going to be on the hard for a few months in Annapolis. I need to get a number of things done, ranging from general maintenance to the install of a radar and electric windlass. I have the names of a few people in Annapolis that I'd like to pass by someone who knows the area. I'd prefer not to post the names of the people here so as to protect the innocent (if there's an issue with one). If you are in the Annapolis area could you post here and I'll e-mail you? Or send me a private message or an e-mail.

Thanks!

Chris
