Re: Yanmar 2gm20f RPM

The continuous rating on a 2GM20F is 3400 RPM, max rating is 3600 RPM. A good rule of thumb for cruising RPM is about 80 - 85% of the continuous rating.

New to me...

Yanmar 2gm20f, C&C30MKII, two blade prop;

What should my cruising and max RPM be?

It seems to like 2800, but I can't get it much over 3100. I seem to get close to hull speed when I max it out but I have not had much of a chance to test in no wind or current.
