astraeus Congratulations! Sailing can be very addictive.

By the way, is there a story behind you user name? After I bought my boat I wondered whether I needed a cat scan or at least some psychological help.

The right friends are hard to find

Received a call last week from my Wife's boss. She asked "would you like a sailboat?" We said "Sure how much?" She said "Free"


Needless to say I....we now own a 1970 HR25.

We have some learning to do as neither of us have sailed before... But we are both eager and excited to get started.

Hopefully pictures are forthcoming.
