Trying to figure out if I could get in there from offshore. Looking at the charts seems there is 6 to 8 ft in the Acadiana channel but the depth appears to go to 3ft just as you leave the channel and approach the marina. I was wondering if they have marked channel for the entrance to the marina? Sounds like folks with 5ft draft are squeezing in there. Problem is my draft is about 5 1/2.

this is the cypremort yacht club in vermilon bay ,la
i talked to a guy at the club the other day told me he draws 5 ft ,
i only need 3 ft of water so i dont worry about it

they have a facebook page and a website .
