Well, not sure if this will do you any good, but I'm removing and entire intact system from my Valiant 40. The only thing I'm retaining is the boom extrusion and the gooseneck fitting.

No
It has been a long journey but I am finally getting ready to install my sails that have been reworked by the local north sail loft.

Hi,
Did you ever find parts for your stoboom?

Post a pic. We have been making replacement parts for various Al castings for Furlers, boomkickers and such. Machined from solid Al is often better than the original casting. Sometimes we can even use my fav material, G10.

Have a talk to the guys at Pompanette.

You'll find them very helpful and knowledgeable and with a surprising range of Hood spares.

Parts for Hood Sto-Boom

Seeking a source for replacement parts for a Hood Sto-Boom for my new to me 33' Offshore Cat-Ketch. The previous owner did not pay great attention to the condition of his running rigging and when the mizzen topping lift failed it allowed the boom to fall breaking the casting at the front of the boom that supports the bearing, boom attachment pin (I'm sure there is a nautical name fo rthis bit) and the furling line guide blocks.

Pretty sure it got lively in the cockpit about the same time.

Thanks in advance.
