Re: Flicka pilothouse?

Kinda cute in a disconcerting sort of way. Hydraulic Drive? An electric motor driving a hydraulic pump which drives a hydraulic motor which drives a propshaft ? Or am I overthinking this?

Re: Flicka pilothouse?

My buddy is turning a Halman 20 into a trawler with hydraulic drive. Looks like something built by Mattel

Re: Flicka pilothouse?

I've always liked the Flickas. I even like this one ; but don;t know that I'd call it a "Pilot House"? Looks ta me more like a raised cabin! The always could use the headroom

Re: Flicka pilothouse?

That little guy needs a name like "Toots" or "Thomas" or something else cute but not cutesy.

Re: Flicka pilothouse?

Doesn't quite look like a Flicka hull to me. Are you sure it's a Flicka?

Re: Flicka pilothouse?

Nor' Star made them first, then PSC picked up the molds.
Thanks, Capttb, for the link. It looks like that's the boat, apparently a one-off.

Nor'Star Flicka 20?

Isn't the Flicka is made by Pacific Seacraft?
