Re: Any 365 ketch rig owners out there?

Hi! We like Barbers well enough, it's a gorgeous marina and they spend a lot of money on it. The downside is where it's at, my wife spends 200-300 bucks a month on gas to get to Orange beach where she works everyday. It's right across the water but by car it's a real haul. There is not much around it either so shopping and such can also be a real chore. So the reason I asked about your davits is we also have them and because of the cockpit lay-out with the ketch rig it can be hard to fit davits in. We have them mounted right on the aft rail, but had to move the P/S aft cleats to do it. I'm thinking of building an arch that's on an angle to get out past the mizzen boom, then I can turn it into a better davit system and be able to mount stuff on top, like wind and solar. But I would also like to install a wind vain steering system, which the mizzen boom may hinder as well. Too much to do!

Yep got one! #264, ketch rigged. I got some pics of her on my profile. Do you have davits installed?

Would like to see what other 365 owners have for upgrade options and resto experiences. I own hull number 24. One of the earliest that I have found so far still above water.
Would also like to see if any parts or documents are around for these old girls.
