Re: think i found a boat

Awesome and welcome to boat ownership I've been having an Oday 22 for a few years now and it has been a great boat. If the 19 is just a smaller version of that, you will be happy.

think i found a boat

after many many years of wanting to own a sailboat I have found one that seems to fit the bill. Took the lessons last year, rented a few times, then began the search.

found a boat listed as an oday 18. probably a 19 mariner. has a shoal draft keel and small cuddy. i say hopefully because the title wasn't with the boat this evening. title should be in hand this week, will pick the boat up on the weekend. owner's friend (seller) agreed to keep it till then with no money down.

seems to be in very good shape for it's age. some scratching, etc but overall not bad. can't wait for the ice to leave the water now.
