I also received confirmation today that the order shipped. Ended up with the Micron Extra bottom paint at $180 per gallon after the rebate plus getting 2000e primer at $80 a gallon. Those prices are hard to beat.

Same exact timing here, received all ordered except my new Manson Supreme anchor will arrive tomorrow.
In addition took a ride up to Defender after placing order on Thursday to p.u. new air floor dinhgy. As I live in N.Y.
no tax on delivery and no tax on picked up dinghy (as a Ct. non-resident).
As an aside, dropped the wife off at the casino for a few hours and as I had something to show for the money I left
behind...there was no "did we really need that" discussion
on the way home!

Re: Defender Spring Sale...not

I did not order until Saturday night, since I was tweaking my wish list for a few days. I still have not gotten confirmation that the order shipped. I am in no hurry for most of the stuff, but I really need to get the bottom paint soon! Wishing I had bought that one item somewhere else.

I just got an email a moment ago saying they just shipped my order and should be here on Monday.

Re: Defender Spring Sale...not

has anyone ever purchased a full spool of line from defender and know if they give a full-spool discount? I am looking to replace all of my halyards with Samson 1/2" XLS and it's 25% off now. Wondering if that would be on top of a full spool discount. Was hoping someone would be at the phones for the last day of the sale but nobody's home...maybe it's a moot point.

are the same items usually on sale for the Newport and Annapolis boat show sales?

T37Chef Good sale or not...went to West Marine looking for a 1.5 " bilge strainer, $32.00? Checked Defenders price for the exact same item, $23.00? WTF

Re: Defender Spring Sale...not

Here is some example pricing where Defender sale is actually better

Johnson Bilge Pump 2200
WM $104 (wow, really?)
Hodges $74
Defender sale $64

But generally Hodges looks fantastic on pricing.

Re: Defender Spring Sale...not

People who have had a good experience with Hodges might help everyone out by posting it to the "Good Vendor" thread. Can't wait to give them a try. Wish I knew about them before. I could have saved a few bucks.
