Follow up information

Based on a recommendation I was given on this forum I was able to purchase exactly what I needed; thus successfully ending a two year search to find a suitable replacement instrument cover. I found a 5-inch diameter circular cover manufactured by SSI of Hollywood MD. In case anybody else is looking for the same item their web site is www.ssicustomplastics.com (as of January 2007). In addition to the instrument cover they have numerous other marine products. I paid $6.29 for each cover (I bought two) and it cost me $9 dollars and change to get it shipped out to the west coast. I had to call the phone number to place my order as I could not find a way to order anything directly off their web page. Otherwise the purchase was simple.

Valdare I have a couple of Datamarine covers if you would like them. I replaced the instruments two years ago..and just found them when cleaning a spare bedroom. Let me know...no charge... I think I have two may have three.

Your first shot seemed good to me.

The 90 degree part threw me off a bit as well. It would help if he had mentioned the brand to begin with. The Datamarine cover you came up with seems as good as anything else.

T37Chef Opps...I missed the description part about the 90 degree, just read the 5" diameter part, oh well

Looking for an instrument cover replacement

Somebody out there must have a replacement circular instrument cover that they would like to sell because I sure want to buy one. I am looking for a replacement cover that has a 5 inch diameter and terminates in a simple 90 degree bend. The logo is unimportant and it does not need to have the space for the knob as the instrument it is protecting from the elements is flat. I have pictures of this cover but can't shrink them low enough to fit in the space allottted.
