1969 Cal 2-30 broken mast

Hello,

We were sailing days ago and our mast broke because the standing rigging fail, we cut all the lines, stays and shrouds and throw all the thing to the sea we came back with the engine.

We are looking mast options for our cal 2-30 we have in mind this catalina 30 mast in ebay (sorry i can't post links but you can search in ebay)

"42' Mast from a Catalina 30 Tall Rig" cost 1000dls

please what is your opinion we can use a catalina mast like this, it does not matter to us if we use a mast for another sailboat, we just want to buy a used mast and boom

we want something near florida, for having cheaper shipping costs, what other options we have?, where we can find used mast for our sailboat? and finally what is your opinion of that ebay mast?

thanks for your time,

Javier Bush
