Re: where to mount radar dome on t33

I'm buying a T33 on which I will have to install radar. Would you tell me what conclusion you came to?

Thanks,

Pete

where to mount radar dome on t33

Would like suggestions as to best place to mount radar dome I am considering on my 1880 Tartan t33. Backstay has adjustable blocks so no single cable. Head sail is a frac rig so would it be best if mounted on mast to be above that? I have heard concerns that that would be too high for the weight. The mast would be my preference. Would rather not clutter the stern with mounting the dome on a pole? If mounted on the mast does it ever interfere with the headsail when tacking.
