RickBowman Pacific Seacraft builds a robust vessel with attention to detail. If you can locate a used one in servicable condition at a fair price on the East Coast then you are doing well. They are built in California and are still in business building boats however the 27' Orion as well as my 32' PH are not currently in production. I have been outfitting and refurbishing my newly acquired "2006" PS this winter in heated indoor storage. The deeper that I look into her the more that I appreciate the construction methods and standards employed by PS and one may assume that these construction practices should hold true to other models as well. Yachtworld has an Orion listed for sale in Annapolis. Have fun!
