When I did a major refit in Maine last year Thumper and Steve were very helpfull in my decision making process as well as supplying parts.

Pacific Seacraft factory visit

Dear folks,

We came into Oriental NC to replace the fuel tank and visited the Pacific Seacraft factory in Washington, NC to pick up the new tank. Thumper Brooks and Steve Brodie were VERY generous with their time including a cooks tour of the new Bob Perry designed 61 foot ketch they are building. It is Gorgeous and very well thought out and engineered -- big but can be sailed by a couple in their fifties.

If anyone is thinking about getting a bigger boat, rather than building this one as a one-off Pacific Seacraft instead opted build complete molds (hull and deck) for this boat which makes it the newest addition to their line. Very Impressive!

What was most encouraging, however, was that they said that with the demise of Valliant and Cabo Rico they are getting more orders for new boats as well for major refits of older PSC boats. It was great to see a builder doing so well in this economy.

Well worth a visit!
