egent A second vote for David McClay. I was all set to have him do a short notice survey for me this fall. When three days before the seller sold the boat to someone else. He was very understanding about the whole situation and if the boat I did buy had been in Long Island, I would have used him for that one.

Edited for grammar

Re: Eastern Long Island Marine Surveyor

Derrick T Galen (631) 963-7253 in Sag Harbor, NY. He is tops! Local sailors use him to check out their vessels before going to Caribbean in the fall to be sure that all is OK before departing. Brokers are not crazy about him as he is very, very through, which is not in the best interest of making a sale but in the best interest of the buyer.

QBC Marine Surveys, David McClay, SAMS® AMS®, Northport, New York, USA - Welcome

I used David and he was very helpful to me in telling me what were the mandatory items to be addressed when Seafever was in its pre-refit phase

Eastern Long Island Marine Surveyor

I'm looking for a recommendation for a good marine surveyor who services eastern Long Island. The boat is 28' Pearson and is on the north fork. Any recommendations would be appreciated. Thanks very much.
