Thanks fuzz. I would have expected better from a Formosa owner.

People who blast a business with their first post nearly never turn out to be what they seem. Now me on the other hand, I've got a history here.... who should I blast?

Regarding complaint re Airhead Customer Service.

Airhead have claimed that SVFormosa's complaint is at worst unjust, at best exaggerated. From copies of documents we have seen that appears to be the case. Ergo SVFormosa's post detailing the complaint has been editted.

Re: Air Head Composting Toilet or Similar Mfg.

We've owned a Airhead and two Natureheads and just received our new C-head a few days ago for our new used boat. Can't wait to install and use it!

I've had a Natures Head for 2 months and love it

.... except for a few nights ago where I forgot to keep an eye on the pee jug and filled it too full.... argh.

I fixed flies by adding a couple handfuls of diatomaceous earth per composting charge

Generally they can handle extra wet deposits, but you may have to top up with some extra of what ever dryish media you are using. (Coconut core, or peat moss) If there is an extended set of wet deposits I imagine you may get too much moisture in there, and in that case you just dump it out and start over.

I have a Natures Head and have been using it for three weeks - vents to the old waste pumpout. Zero smell, emptying the pee bottle is kind of a pain, but still prefer the whole system over the traditional one.

Re: Air Head Composting Toilet or Similar Mfg.

There is no former waste pumpout, the boat was never commissioned. Placing the vent forward I have to leave room for the future dodger. No one has a negative comment about placing the vent forward. It simplifies the hose run, keeps it in the head. Thanks for the comments.
