She must have been the one I saw in St. Thomas just a few months ago.

Hard on the wind, she is absolutely stunning. This is what a modern schooner should look like. Hmmm...wonder if he's d be interested in trading boats...??

I just had to go down and look at this thing.
She is called the Adela. First lauched in 1903. She is 181 feet long, has rod rigging and a fin keel. She was refitted in 2003 with every concievable modern option available. She is on her way to Alaska from the BVI. She will be in Alaska for a couple of months and then return to the BVI.

Considering the waterline length looks to be in the neighborhood of 80 feet, I think you can be confident her performance is satisfactory. Now, about the wet bar and barmaids.......
