iDataNet, sailing data on your iPhone

Hi, announces the release of iDataNet v2. This is an iPhone/iPad app which lets you view data live. It does not use NMEA, but rather an open simple UDP protocol over WiFi so that any geek may program his electronic device or custom software to send data to iDataNet. In fact we think this app could be used in many other fields than sailing.
As for now we have developped an AddIns for B&G's Deckman which can send data to iDataNet. Expedition v8.8.4 can also output data over the network to iDataNet.
iDataNet is a freemium which means that the basic version is free. It limits you to two pages of data with two displays. But a 21.99$US in-app purcahse will allow you to have as many pages as you want and up to 9 displays per page.

We made a video of iDataNet in action taken from a coach boat in wifi range. Simply search for iDataNet in youtube or go to our website.
