Re: Sad day

How does one tire of barbecue?

On the plus side you can now visit:

Cozy Corner
and on, and on.

When you are tired of BBQ let me know and I'll try to think of some of the other cool places to feed in Memphis.

Re: Sad day

Sad news indeed. Hopefully you'll get a smaller boat to play around on before you go to Destin. Don't dream too big for Destin, the bridge is only 50 feet, a taller rig will give you headaches tipping over far enough to get out.

Re: Sad day

I agree with jimgo. Get a smaller dailsailer to keep up the skills. I'm an hour north of Nashville and going to sail my boat an hour north of me in Kentucky.

There's some lakes around. towing a daysailer wouldn't be too bad and don't have to pay any slip fees for storage.

Re: Sad day

Sorry to hear you had to sell; those are nice boats. Hopefully you'll enjoy your time in Memphis. There should be lots of lakes around; how 'bout a nice 14-18' so you can "keep your skills sharp" until it's time for the bigger boat?

Sounds like the wife is definitely a keeper... Even if the boat wasn't.
