Re: Water pressure systems

I can't tell you over the years how many times I've rebuilt that pump....The bolt holes in the bakerlite housing no longer hold the bolts thus I can't tighten enough. My bilge and sump pumps are the same Par pumps so I'll use my water pump parts as spares. I was hoping these new style pumps would do the job.

The pumps are rebuildable. What is the problem with yours. Most common seems to me are the valves.marc

Water pressure systems

I need to replace my belt driven PAR water pump. Now available only on special order (at $500), I'm wondering if one of the newer water pressure pumps (ShurFlo, Jabsco, West) would do the job? I have a 48' boat with 3 faucets....the previous pump was 40PSI and 4.0GPM. I would need one with a pressure valve. Any suggestions??
