What an achievement and she was raising money for a good cause, too! I read she started sailing in her 40s and then only started single-handing after her husband had died of cancer. She inspires me.

Yeah... keep them ole geezers off the water! They always sail so slowly! And then ya never know when one of them will hit the throttle instead of the brake when they're tryin' ta park at the marina and wipe out the fuel dock or something!

I've had the good fortune of exchanging some emails with Jeanne. She is an awesome lady and an awesome sailor. I admire that woman.

Extraordinary woman, a very impressive accomplishment...

I'd like to be like her when I grow up, though perhaps a bit less obsessed with the whole Non-Stop thing... (grin)

Awesome! Seems like just yesterday I was reading her blog while she was preparing. Glad she made it and glad to have another inspirational sailor in the world.
