Re: 2013 C&C Northeast Rendezvous on Block Island

Update:

I just received a box full of the latest issue of GOOD OLD BOAT MAGAZINE. There should be enough magazines to give each attendee, boat or couple a copy, depending on how many people show up.

They also gave us two gift certificates good for a one year subscription to the magazine.

As an added bonus, the issue features a review of the venerable C&C 30KI.

What more could one ask for? OK, nice weather and free beer.

We will be at the BI Boat Basin/The Oar all weekend. Beer is on me. You don't even have to drink it from the super soaker, unless you prefer it that way.

And you don't have to be a C&C owner to attend the Rob Ball talk...

R2 to 1BI is essentially the approach corridor from the mainland. Not a huge deal, but it doesn't seem like that would be the most casual place to bunch up a flotilla.
I'm also a big fan of Block Island in June, Sept. and Oct.

I don't think we will be getting in anyone's way. In fact, I'm sure even with our little flotilla it will still be less congested than your average weekend in August or July.
